Publish to Google Play
Including the 12-tester rule for new personal accounts.
What you need
A Google Play Console account ($25 once, paid to Google). Organisation accounts need a D-U-N-S number.
A Google Cloud service account with release access, added once in the Launch tab, so we can upload builds for you.
The 12-tester rule
Personal developer accounts created after 13 November 2023 must run a closed test with at least 12 testers, opted in for 14 days in a row, before an app can go to production.
Start the closed test as early as you can: invite friends, family and staff, and make sure each tester opens the opt-in link and installs the app.
