AppFromShop
Terms of service
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms are a contract between you (the merchant or agency using the dashboard, "you") and AppFromShop ("we", "us"). By creating an account, installing our Shopify app or connecting a store you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
1. The service
AppFromShop lets you design a native iOS and Android app for your online store, preview it on a phone, publish design changes to installed apps, send push notifications, and build and submit the app to Apple's App Store and Google Play using your own developer accounts. We may add, change or retire features; we will give reasonable notice of changes that remove functionality you rely on.
2. Your account and store
- Keep your login secure and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.
- You must have the right to connect the store and to use the products, images and text you put in the app.
- You are responsible for your store platform accounts (Shopify, WooCommerce) and for your Apple and Google developer accounts, including their fees and agreements.
- Agencies may hold several stores in one workspace; each store remains the property and responsibility of its merchant.
3. Plans, trial and billing
Every workspace starts with a 14-day free trial that includes the full designer, live preview and push. Submitting an app to the stores needs a paid plan. Plans are monthly, flat-priced, and listed in the dashboard; prices exclude taxes unless stated.
- Shopify merchants are billed through Shopify's billing, on the store's Shopify invoice, under Shopify's terms.
- Other merchants in India are billed in INR through Razorpay.
- Other merchants outside India are billed through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record and handles taxes for the transaction.
You can cancel any time from the dashboard; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period, after which publishing stops and the workspace becomes read-only until a plan is chosen again. We do not charge revenue shares or per-notification fees. Apple's and Google's developer fees are paid by you to them. Refunds follow our cancellation and refund policy.
4. Your content and your app
You own everything you put into your app: your brand, images, text, product data and the resulting design. You give us a licence to store, process, render and transmit that content solely to provide the service, including rendering previews in the dashboard and building the app binaries.
We own the AppFromShop platform: the dashboard, templates, renderer, app runtime and infrastructure. Your published app includes our runtime under a licence that lasts while you have an active plan or trial. Templates may be used in your app without attribution.
5. App stores
Apps are submitted from your own Apple and Google accounts and in your name. Approval, listing content, age ratings, privacy declarations and compliance with Apple's and Google's policies are your responsibility; we provide the builds, the tooling and guidance. We cannot guarantee that a store will approve an app or how long review takes.
6. Push notifications and shoppers
You may only send push notifications that comply with the law where your shoppers are, with Apple's and Google's rules, and with your own privacy notice. You are the controller of your shoppers' data in your app; our privacy policy describes what we process for you. Do not use the service to send spam, deceptive content, or anything that violates the acceptable-use section below.
7. Acceptable use
- No illegal goods or content, no infringement of others' rights, no malware, no attempts to breach or overload the service.
- No reselling the service as your own without a written agreement with us.
- No reverse engineering of the platform beyond what the law allows.
8. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service; maintenance and incidents happen. Published design versions are kept so you can restore any of them. Support is by email during business hours in India; response targets depend on your plan.
9. Termination
You can delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or end the service for a workspace that breaks these terms, does not pay, or creates legal or security risk, giving notice where practical. On termination your right to use our runtime in your published app ends after the paid period; your store and your app store accounts are unaffected.
10. Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will meet every requirement or be error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost sales or profits.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of the city where AppFromShop is registered, unless the law where you live gives you other rights that cannot be waived.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them. Contact: [email protected].
